- Do you read overseas’ headlines? Did you know there are food famines going on everywhere?
- Do you understand the petroleum (that’s gasoline, oil) requirements for truckers who bring food to your grocer?
- Do you have even a 4-foot-square piece of land in which to plant something edible?
- Do you know how easy it is to “sprout” sprouts–for salads, or for growing?
- Do you have a backup plan if the power goes out and you can’t use your stove or open your freezer?
